FRIDA was seized in a clandestine zoo where living conditions were catastrophic. The animals were knee-deep in mud and wading in their own excrement. The zebus, very shy animals, were difficult to capture.
FRIDA, although very shy, was inquisitive, which encouraged her to gradually approach the caretakers. The process of socialization takes time, but progress is already visible, and we're on the right track for it to continue.
As FRIDA arrived at the shelter pregnant, we had the privilege of welcoming her baby LENNY on July 12, 2024.
FRIDA must live with at least one other conspecific.
Adoption only possible with an "permit to keep animals".
