JO - A Loyal German Shepherd Seeking a Trusting Relationship

JO is a magnificent male German Shepherd waiting patiently to meet the person who will understand his sensitive heart.
Behind his proud appearance lies a deeply endearing dog, loyal and capable of immense love... once he's given you his trust.

His personality

JO is a dog that needs time to open up.
With the people he knows, he's cuddly, close to people and very loyal.
He loves contact, walks and easily shares moments of complicity.
He's a large, intelligent dog, sensitive and full of qualities, ideal for someone who appreciates dogs with character and is ready to build a solid, respectful relationship.

Behaviors and habits

Very clean, but needs to be taken out regularly.
Good recall and loves walks.
Can tolerate solitude, provided he always has something to chew on to avoid stress or destruction.
Car: OK, but no public transport.
Not cat-friendly.
Not OK dogs.
Not OK for children, as he can be reactive.

A garden is highly recommended to help keep him clean and give him space.
Apartment living possible, but will need to be taken out 3 to 4 times a day.
Person or family with good experience of large or sensitive dogs.
Quiet home with no children or other animals.
Adopters willing to offer him patience, gentleness and consistency so that he can blossom.

Why adopt JO?
Because JO isn't just a dog: once he gets to know you, he becomes a lifelong companion. With him, you'll gain a loyal, sensitive, protective friend who will give you his whole heart.
If you're prepared to give him a little time to open up, JO will offer you a unique and authentic relationship, the kind only dogs with big hearts can create.
